Master of Science in Botany is a branch of biology deals with plants that involves the scientific study of plant life. Botany covers a wide range of scientific disciplines concerned with the study of plants, algae and fungi including their structure, growth, reproduction, metabolism, development, disease, chemical properties, breeding and evolutionary relationship among taxonomic groups.
The course covers all the related topics of the study fields. Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture. Plant tissue culture all are the related sciences originated from Botany. The course is designed in a way so it will not only restricted to the theoretical knowledge but also impart practical knowledge as well.
Course duration is 2 years and the syllabus for the course is divided into 4 semesters.
